Lock: Full On-Chain Writing Platform
Introduction
This platform is designed to host content that may be perceived as valuable, offensive, meaningful, or unacceptable, depending on the subjective moral framework of each reader.
It is not intended to comply with the moral, cultural, religious, or ideological standards of all societies, organized ethnic groups, or evolved belief systems. In particular, it does not seek alignment with systems that impose centralized normative control over expression.
The project is not conceived to oppose, interfere with, or compromise the direct superior interests or explicit will of such societies, groups, or belief structures. As a result, access to the platform may be restricted in certain geographic regions.
If individuals belonging to these societies or groups, by their own initiative and means, succeed in accessing the platform, the project assumes no responsibility for any resulting use. Responsibility remains with the entities enforcing—or failing to enforce—access limitations on their members.
As long as the creator retains control over the consensus of the access point (URL, website, etc.), they remain open to any collaboration aimed at restricting access to the platform.
Philosophy
The duality of good and evil is inherent to any sovereign entity concerned with its own interests, or those of any dominant entity exercising moral authority over it. No two entities share exactly the same interests. As a consequence, this platform will inevitably host messages that serve and oppose the interests of every entity alike.
Architecture
The platform operates without backend infrastructure, relying exclusively on a smart contract and a frontend interface.
The official frontend will be released publicly, and anyone may reproduce, modify, or replace it. The smart contract and on-chain data constitute the core of the system.
blockchain: Solana
Solana was chosen for its large user base, low transaction costs, and high throughput.
The project initiator intends to port the platform to other blockchains in the near future.
Operation
Each post must contain at least 1 character and may not exceed 2240 characters. A line is defined as 70 characters, and a page as 32 lines.
Every post and like incurs a fee of 0.001 SOL on top of network fees. For replies and likes, the payment goes directly to the author of the parent post.
Tokenomics & Launch
To fund the project from the start, a token ($LOCK) will be launched on pump.fun as part of the Build In Public Global Hackathon. The creator will purchase 4 SOL worth of supply (124858181.763706 $LOCK, representing 12.48% of total supply) to meet the hackathon requirement of holding at least 10% of the supply. These tokens will be held until the token exits the bonding curve—if it ever does.
Launch Phases
Genesis — The initial phase before full launch. During Genesis, users can create new posts, replies, and likes for 0.001 SOL each. Posts created during this phase will be visually distinguishable on the frontend.
The Exodus — The final launch, triggered when the token has exited its bonding curve (enforced by the smart contract).
Perpetuity — The era following The Exodus. New posts are no longer permitted; only replies to Genesis posts remain possible. The platform switches to its utility token, with a cost of 1 token per reply or like.
